15-CROSSTRAIL-suspension INTEGRATED SUSPENSION FORK
WHAT Custom suspension fork with integrated crown design. Remote hydraulic lockout function from the handlebar (select models).
WHY Integrated crown design for a sleek and straight downtube.
HOW Proprietary, custom designed suspension fork crown enables a unique downtube, headtube and fork crown unit. With a lockout, you gain more efficiency on any surface.
15-CROSSTRAIL-2x10 2X10 SHIFTING
WHAT Wide range SRAM WiFLi 10-speed 11-36 rear cassette combined with new 48/32 double chainrings.
WHY Eliminates cross shifting and complexity of a triple chainring but offers equal gear range.
HOW Utilising SRAM 2×10 WiFLi technology combined with a custom 48/32 tooth front crankset.
15-CROSSTRAIL-internal INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
WHAT Front and rear derailleur cables are routed inside the frame (select models).
WHY To achieve a sleek look by keeping the bike clutter free, plus to keep gunk out of the cables. It’s a win-win situation!
HOW The cables enter the frame at the top of the downtube and exit at the bottom bracket.
15-CROSSTRAIL-fork SUSPENSION FORK WITH MULTI-CIRCUIT DAMPING
WHAT Front suspension with compression and rebound damping.
WHY To give you more control over varying terrain. The fork performance is smooth, consistent, and predictable; plus, tunable by adjusting the knobs.
HOW Specialized suspension guru Mike McAndrews took apart a standard fork and completely reworked the internals to drastically increase compression and damping performance. The result is a suspension fork with more adjustability and a ride quality closer to a premium fork, never seen before in a fork at this level.
15-CROSSTRAIL-disc DISC BRAKES
WHAT Powerful disc brakes throughout the line.
WHY Adventures take you to higher speeds and various terrain. The additional stopping power and modulation will help you maintain control.
HOW The disc offers the best and most consistent braking through a rotor separate from the rim regardless of weather or terrain.
